It all started in the shower.

One day, I looked around and realized how many plastic bottles were piling up—and how little I was doing to stop it. I wanted to make a change, both for my own routine and for the planet.

I tried shampoo bars that were on the market, but none of them worked for me. The ingredients were too harsh, especially for my curls, or they left my hair feeling stripped and dry. So I decided to make my own. What began as a simple DIY project turned into something much bigger: a way to create better haircare products and reduce plastic waste at the same time.

Today, our bars are at the heart of what we do. Each one is handcrafted in North Carolina in small batches with naturally derived ingredients chosen to be good for you and kind to the planet. Every bar is poured, pressed, and packaged by hand. They’re not identical, and that’s part of what makes them special. We call them perfectly imperfect.

At Blue Rosemary Co., our mission is simple:

Right now, we offer shampoo and conditioner bars, but this is just the beginning. Our vision is to expand into more plastic-free personal care options, making it easier for all of us to care for ourselves without compromising the environment.

Because caring for yourself and caring for the planet shouldn’t be at odds. It’s about creating personal care that’s effective, sustainable, and made with purpose.
